GPS Camera: Timestamp & Map

100% on your device
GPS Camera works entirely on your phone. There is no account and no server. Your photos, videos, coordinates, notes and settings are stored only on this device and are never uploaded to us or anyone else. The only time content leaves your device is when you choose to share or save it somewhere yourself.
Location
We use your location only to stamp your photos and videos with your current coordinates, address and heading, and to write GPS data into the photo's EXIF metadata. Your location is used on-device for this purpose and is not tracked, profiled, or uploaded. The street address is looked up from your coordinates via your device's built-in geocoding service, which requires a network connection; if you're offline, no address is requested.
Camera & Photos
The camera is used only to take the photos and videos you capture. Video is recorded without audio — the app does not use the microphone. Saving to your photo library uses add-only access: the app does not read or scan your existing photos or videos.
Permissions
GPS Camera requests only what it needs to work:
- Camera — to take the photos and videos you capture.
- Location (precise and approximate) — to stamp your shots with coordinates and address, only while you are capturing. There is no background location and no tracking.
- Internet — to look up the street address from your coordinates and to load banner ads. It is never used to upload your photos or videos.
The app does not use the microphone, and does not request permission to read your photo or media library.
Ads (free version)
The free version shows advertising from Google AdMob — a small banner ad; there are no full-screen or interstitial ads. We request non-personalized ads. Even so, Google's ad SDK may access a device advertising identifier and collect limited information (such as approximate, IP-based location and ad interactions) to serve and measure ads, as described in Google's own policies. See Google's advertising policies. On iOS, a one-time Premium purchase removes all ads, after which no ad SDK data is collected. Google AdMob is the only third party in the app.
Purchases
Premium is a one-time in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple's App Store / StoreKit. We never see your payment details; we only receive whether the purchase is active.
Children
GPS Camera does not knowingly collect personal information from children. It has no account system and stores everything locally.
